Elucidating the Mechanism of Action of IMM-H004 by CKLF Knockout Rats2020-02-27
The research team led by Chen Naihong, a professor at Hubei University of Chinese Medicine, published the results in Translational Research (IMM-H004 Therapy for permanent Focal injury via CKLF1/CCR4-mediated NLRP3 Masome Activation) October 2019, Pages 36-53). The CKLF knockout rats used in the paper were produced by the Genetically Engineering Animal Creation Platform of the Institute of Laboratory Animal Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.
PLoS Pathogens: Long-Term Control of Powerful HIV Fusion Inhibitors for Viral Replication in AIDS Macaques2019-12-25 08:29:47
In February 2019,He Yuxian team, Institute of Pathogen Biology, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and Qinchuan team, the Institute of Laboratory Animal Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences published online in the journal PloS Pathogens. They found that by a single low dose (3 mg/kg) of LP - 80 treatment, HIV/AIDS in rhesus monkeys viral load quickly fell to testing lines, and two times a week monotherapy can suppress the virus for a long time (6 months). Lp-80 is the most effective HIV fusion inhibitor and is expected to be applied in clinical practice. The original title of the article is “Monotherapy with a low-dose lipopeptide HIV fusion inhibitor maintains long-term viral suppression in rhesus macaques.
New Progress in Cardiovascular Disease Research Group2019-12-04 08:49:17
The cardiovascular disease research group has made a breakthrough in the study of the pathological mechanism of salt-sensitive hypertension and found that low-dose aspirin can reduce vascular endothelial injury, improve vascular function, reduce blood pressure and, most importantly, alleviate target organ injury by inhibiting the inflammatory response induced by platelet activation.
