New Pathogenesis Research Group
The new pathogenesis research group mainly uses animal models of diseases to study new and recurrent infectious diseases. Centering on major infectious diseases and emerging and recurrent infectious diseases, they carry out the research on the development of disease models and analysis techniques, as well as the innovative research on comparative medicine.

AIDS Research Group
Through 30 years of efforts, for the first time, the AIDS research group has systematically established a standardized animal model system for HIV/AIDS in rhesus monkeys in China, especially by chairing a number of special projects and sub-projects on major infectious diseases in the 11th, 12th and 13th five-year Plans.
