Stem Cell Translational Medicine Research Group

2012年12月13日 Source:

Overview:

Our group focoses on the translational research into stem cell therapies, incuding  Neurodegenerative disease, Hematological disease and cardiovascular diseases., We provides the animal models and the preclinical evaluation for the translational research of stem cell therapies. Our group has undertaken many research projects, including the Beijing Natural Science Foundation, National Science Foundation of China, CAMS Innovation Fund for Medical Sciences, The National Science Foundation for Young Scholars of China, New Teachers' Fund for Doctor Stations, Ministry of Education, etc.in the related papers are published on the academic journals such as Cell Research, Cell Death and Diseases, Experimental Cell Research and Journal of Cellular Biochemistry and etc.

The Research Interests:

(1) Banking of stem cell lines fromthe animal models of diseases for basic and translational research

(2) Preclinical Efficacy and Safety Evaluation of stem cell therapy in the animal models of diseasey.

(3) Research on the aging mechanism of stem cells.

Staff Composition:

Scientific Research Achievements:

(1) Banking of stem cell lines from the animal models of diseases for basic and translational research

(2) Improved cell therapy evaluation system of efficacy and safety for the Parkinson's disease based on differentiation animal models.

(3) Established genetically modified mice were used to understanding the gene function during aging will lend support to develop therapeutic approaches to slow down aging process and improve old organ functions
